In partnership with the Mersal Foundation, ERA is supporting families across Egypt as they navigate the dual challenges of survival and recovery amidst harsh economic realities and debilitating medical conditions.

This zakat-eligible program offers monthly financial assistance for essential needs like food, rent, and clothing. However, it’s more than just financial support — it’s a lifeline, particularly for refugee families, some of whom are dealing with the physical and emotional scars of war.

Funds raised are distributed through two key programs:

• Meeza Cards: Prepaid cards designed to help families cover their basic living expenses, tailored to each family’s specific needs.

• El-Sanad Cards: These cards provide families with a reliable way to purchase food from Mersal’s partner supermarkets, ensuring they have access to essential groceries.
